Wayne Rooney Autograph

Wayne Mark Rooney was born on 24th October 1985 and played as Premiership footballer for Everton then Manchester United later becoming England team captain. His first goal made him the youngest goal scorer in Premier League history at the time and again, when he scored in Euro 2004, he again became the youngest goal scorer in the competition. However Wayne Rooney was not just well known for his football prowess but also for the many dives he seemed to take although he reflectd at the time, "If you look at my bookings, they've gone down each season. That's something I'm trying to keep improving. On the pitch you don't want any silly bookings." You mean you don't want to be caught for any silly bookings, big difference. After his time with Manchester United, Rooney rejoined Everton in 2017 on a free transfer and, the following year, signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with D.C. United of Major League Soccer in the USA. In 2019 he joined EFL Championship side Derby County as player-manager and, On 15th January 2021, he formally retired from playing football after being appointed their permanent manager.
