Shirley Jane Temple was born on April 23rd 1928 and became one of
America's most famous child actresses, in fact, from 1936-38, Shirley
Temple earned more than any other Hollywood star! However the
transition to adult acting proved difficult and, by the age of just 21,
Shirley Temple's career appeared over. However a new opening beckoned, one of diplomacy and she became ambassador to Czechoslovakia, under President George H.W. Bush. She penned
her book, Child Star: An Autobiography and was 85-years-old when she died on February 10, 2014.
