Leonard Nimoy Autograph

Leonard Simon Nimoy was born on March 26th, 1931 and is perhaps best known for his role as Spock in the TV series Star Trek, its spin-off movies and successor, Star Trek: the Next Generation as well as cameo appearances in the new Star Trek films. However Leonard Nimoy has already appeared in over 50 TV shows and movies before the short lived Star Trek series (1966-1969) and following the show's cancellation, Nimoy immediately joined the cast of the spy series Mission: Impossible. Nimoy was cast as an IMF agent who was an ex-magician/ make-up expert, "The Great Paris." He played the role from 1969 to 1971. His first autobiography I Am Not Spock was not a great success, however his subsequent tome I Am Spock was better received. He continued to live long and prosper until 27th February 2015 when he died at the age of 83 from complications arsing from his chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
