Edmund "Eddie" Irvine was born on 10th November 1965 and became famous for his formula racing career. Although known for his flamboyant lifestyle, fame does not always appeal to him commenting, "It's annoying when you're trying to have dinner with your friends, and people come over constantly and ask for your autographs. When I was younger, I'd stand and wait three hours if I had to. I wouldn't think of butting into their conversation or anything like that. Loss of privacy is the biggest thing I don't like." Since retiring, Irvine has expanded his interests in the property market, having built up an investment portfolio during his racing career.
