Nicolas Anelka
was born on 19th March 1974 in France. He played for the French national team
and a number of English Premier League teams with an aggregated transfer cost of just under 90 million pounds. On his retirement from
football, he went on to manage a number of club teams including Shanghai Shenhua as a player-coach, Mumbai City FC as a player-manager, then from 2018-2020 as manager of the Lille youth eam. In 2021 he joined Hyeres FC as sports director however left three months later as no games took placee during his tenure due to the COVID-19 pandemic in France.
