Winston Churchill Autograph

Winston Churchill was born on 30th November 1874 and is best known for his political leadership during WW11, he is also known for being only the second person in history to be made an honorary citizen of the USA and to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature. On his death in 1965 the Queen granted him a state funeral which was attended by dignitaries from around the world.

Famous for his speeches, Winston Churchill also had a quirky sense of humour noting "A politician needs the ability to foretell what is going to happen tomorrow, next week, next month, and next year. And to have the ability afterwards to explain why it didn't happen."  And, as for his attitude towards Hitler, "An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last."
