Anton Ferdinand Autograph

Anton Julian Ferdinand was born on 18th February 1985 in London, England. He was born into a footballing family with his brother Rio Ferdinand and cousin Les Ferdinand both well known footballers. He hit the headlines in October 2006 following his arrest for assault outside a nightclub but a year later was acquitted after the jury decided that he had acted in self defence to protect his somewhat expensive watch from being stolen. Anton Ferdinand caused further controversy when playing for West Ham he went AWOL before a crucial match claiming he was going to visit a sick relative but instead packed his bags for the US to celebrate his birthday. Falling out of favour, he was quietly dropped by West Ham and went on to play for Queens Park Rangers, Sunderland, Bursaspor, Antalyaspor and Reading before retiring from professional football in July 2019.
